HAND MEASURING EQUIPMENT
Our Inspection Lab consists of various dimensional inspection equipment, in many sizes / configurations. Specific gages that we not currently carry can be acquired, calibrated and used for your project (cost added in quote)
All gages are calibrated and catalogued annually, and are verified to standard daily to ensure reliability. All inspection equipment used on parts are tracked through our piece inspection record system

IN LINE CMM
Our CMM can be programmed and fixtured to suit our clients needs, and full inspection records can be stored and provided.
We have various probe tips at different indexes, so many variations can be achieved.
CONTRACER / SURFACE FINISH PROBE
The Surfcom is a dual contracer and profilometer, which utilizes 2 unique head units to trace a line across a part, giving either surface finish results, or the linear features of a part. It can measure distances, radii, angles, as well as provide information of intersecting planes. It excels in tracing interior features as well as undercut for accurate measuring.
OASIS MEASURING SYSTEM
The Oasis machine will measure outside features of a part extremely accurately, and provide a full report for each piece. The features can be programmed and saved, so a part can be placed on the platform and instantly measured with no intervention, making it extremely efficient, especially for large quantity orders.
All inspection reports are archived and provided to our customers, along with manually measured dimensions in a full report.
RECORDS AND TRACKING
All parts created at Manchester are dimensionally recorded and serialized, and parts can be identified through engraving by our laser marking system or dot peen engraved where applicable. We also track material type / metallurgy and heat treatment processes. Full piece inspection data and relevant documentation is available upon request per customer requirements.
